Complete Renovation, Privett

A superb renovation job completed within a short timescale. The day after the property was purchased by our client we started work. We initially stripped, re-tiled and re-slated to new timber rafters. The property was completely re-wired with new power cable installations. Plumbing works were also completed.
The vision our clients had for this house was far-seeing and exciting, starting with enhancing the entrance into the property and transforming it from a driveway into a landscaped garden, and utilizing the existing features.

The main transformation internally was to change the existing windows into doors, which has allowed more light to filter into the house enhancing a full view of the fields beyond. The original domed conservatory has been kept to give increased living space to this farm-style family home.

Other aspects of this renovation include the flint featured walls, the natural slate and Keymer hand-made tiles, timber, fascias and windows. We also renovated the existing oak staircase to how it should have been originally.

Complete Renovation & Front/Rear Extensions, Farnham

Complete Renovation & Front/Rear Extensions, Farnham

This was a total renovation and our first task was to clear the site completely and install a site office. Our client moved into temporary accommodation for six months whilst we undertook the project.

This renovation comprised of a brilliantly designed, two-storey, rear extension and new front porch area, roof refurbishments and internal works.

We commenced first with the rear extension, then re-roofing and the renovation of two chimney stacks. The scaffolding was then dismantled and the lower roof finished. We completed the rendering having installed temporary guttering, which we later replaced with purpose-made guttering and downpipes.

The interior of the house was our next project; here a new staircase was made and fitted and the first fix of the re-wiring and plumbing established. Studwork was then erected and finally plastering completed. We fitted a new kitchen and a double sided feature fireplace, radiators, doors and skirting. Internal painting work completed the final stage.

We are pleased to report that we not only finished the work in the set time frame, but more importantly, managed to stay on budget. The clients were easy to work with and their architect did a great job. This made for an interesting and happy project.
